Some news from Eurac Research

Over the past months, Eurac Research has contributed to stakeholder engagement strategies and participated in knowledge-sharing activities, including presenting synergies with related initiatives.

In parallel, we have supported the mapping of building stock data and carried out policy analysis for Deliverables D2.1 and D2.2 (project deliverables focusing on stakeholder needs) and requirements for establishing national Building Stock Observatories, and on policies and existing tools at national and EU level, respectively ensuring alignment with EU frameworks and Member State priorities.

These efforts are essential for improving data transparency and supporting the effective implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.

Looking ahead, Eurac Research will continue refining workflows and supporting the integration of national dialogues into the project’s evaluation framework, reinforcing our commitment to advancing sustainable building policies across Europe.

In the upcoming months, Eurac Research will also focus on developing methodologies for quality assurance, leading this effort in collaboration with project partners.

J-1 before the event: Meet the speakers

The European Commission and LIFE Programme hybrid event “Supporting EPBD implementation: Practical solutions developed by EU-funded initiatives” will take place tomorrow, 13 May 2026, in Brussels and online. BREEZE: supporting Europe’s transition to zero-emission buildings

The transition to a more sustainable building stock is one of Europe’s major challenges. Buildings are central to energy consumption, climate objectives and indoor comfort, making renovation a key priority for the coming years. OBSERVE Technical Workshop #1: Take 2 takes place today

Today, 28 April 2026, OBSERVE is holding Take 2 of its first Technical Workshop, taking place online via Microsoft Teams from 14:00 to 16:00 CEST.
