Skills at the core of the decarbonisation of the Italian building stock

The Skills2Decarb training programme is based on a
two-phase complementary model designed to ensure effectiveness, transferability of skills, and long-term impact within the sustainable construction sector.
The training activities will be delivered in a
hybrid format through
four national training hubs located in
Rovereto,
Pavia,
Rome, and
Naples, with tailored learning pathways for professionals and workers.
Phase 1 – Train-the-Trainers
This phase focuses on building a qualified network of trainers. Skills2Decarb consortium experts will train:
White-collar trainers within partner organisations, strengthening their technical and methodological competences;
Site managers, who will be upskilled to take an active role in training workers through structured on-the-job training pathways.
Phase 2 – Train-the-Trainees
This phase targets AEC professionals and workers and will deliver training through a blended learning model.
