As we move into a key phase of the OBSERVE project, the team is actively developing tools and methodologies to support the creation of effective, inclusive national Building Stock Observatories (BSOs) across Europe. πͺπΊ
π° Recent work has focused on designing tailored questionnaires and survey instruments to capture valuable input from public authorities, technical experts, and other key stakeholders. These tools will be used in one-on-one interviews and an upcoming EU-wide stakeholder survey set to launch in July 2025. The insights gathered will help identify national needs, data gaps, and opportunities for alignment with EU-level building and renovation goals.
π At the same time, project partners are initiating case study activities in their respective countries, building direct engagement with local actors and institutions. These efforts will inform the development of national observatories that are not only data-driven, but also grounded in the real-world needs and expectations of those they aim to serve.
π€ At the same time, weβre strengthening collaboration with EU-level initiatives and explore synergies with the EU Building Stock Observatory (EU BSO) and other LIFE and Horizon projects.

π² Stay tuned as OBSERVE continues to connect data, policy, and people for a more efficient and inclusive built environment!
