The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2026 offered a high-level platform to spotlight the best practices and innovations emerging from EU-funded projects. Among them, SmarterEPC, alongside its Next Gen EPC Cluster partners, actively engaged with policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers to discuss technical progress and regulatory challenges in deploying next-generation Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and Smart Readiness Indicators (SRIs).
This session explores the early roll-out of renovation passports after EPBD transposition. Approaches will be discussed to identify effective implementation mechanisms and strengthen delivery.
In this edition, Sophie Dourlens-Quaranta, Managing Partner of the French Branch at R2M Solution, will present the innovation brought about by the SmarterEPC Certification process, including the proposed integrated audit procedure and HUB for issuing the integrated certification. How can these innovations support the effective implementation of the Building Passport? What challenges are still to be addressed for Member States and professionals in this sector to implement EPC and SRI fully?
Don’t miss the discussion! Registration are open.
